From I-89, take Exit 8

Proceed to the second set of traffic lights (first set, near National Life Drive is often only a flashing light).  Proceed to Bailey Avenue and turn left onto Bailey Avenue (near the Credit Union).  Take a right onto State Street.  Proceed past the State House, Capitol Plaza Hotel, Post Office and Court House.  Turn left at the Court House onto Elm Street (also Rt.12).  Continue through the intersections past School/Court Street.  In the next block will be several apartments on your right.  The Council office is located on the right, toward the end of that block at 137 Elm Street, in a red brick building with white porches in front.  Across the street is the Resurrection Baptist Church.  If you get to Spring Street, you have gone too far.  The office is located on the second floor. There is a sign out front for the Council.

If coming from any other direction besides the Interstate, once you have located Elm Street, follow the same landmarks as noted. 

Parking is on the street.

From I-89 North take exit 15, veer right onto route 15 East.  Go through 3 stoplights (you will pass St. Michael’s College, Fanny Allen, and Camp Johnson), at the fourth stoplight take a left into the Fort Ethan Allen, onto Barnes Avenue.  Follow Barnes until you see the dead end sign, at the sign take a right onto Troy Avenue.  Follow Troy all the way to the end, we are the last building on the right.  It is a big, brick building with a wooden sign out front that says Champlain Vocational Services.  Park in the parking lot, come in the front, green door and we are on the second floor.

From the North:

South I89 take Exit 4. Go right after stop. Down Hill, past Mobil Station and McDonalds.  Follow this road (Rte 66) in to town. Go up hill at an intersection (4-way stop).  Through this intersection the road will bear to the left (past Cumberland Farms on the left and a fire station on the right).  Go over a bridge to downtown.  For parking:  (it is usually hard to find a parking space right on Main Street during the day), the municipal parking area entrance is between the red brick church and the shell station on your right.  Walking back out the parking lot, across the street from Brooks Pharmacy you will see a row of brick buildings.  Our office is located above the Ben Franklin Store.  You will see our sign above our door to the right of Ben Franklin.

You can take the elevator (down the hall from the entrance); or the stairs up to the 2^nd floor.

From the South:

Directions to Bradford

From the North:

Take 89 South to exit WRJ/Brattleboro. Take left to 91 North.  Go to exit 16 {Bradford}.  Turn right off exit ramp. After ¾ of a mile you will come to a stoplight.  Turn right onto Rt 5.  Clara Martin Center will be 1 mile on left. It is a white building with a green roof.  Clara Martin Center sign out front.

From Barre:

Go east on Rt 302 through Orange. Get on Rt 25.  There is a sign to Bradford.  This takes you right into Bradford.  Turn right on Rt 15 south.  It is less than 1 mile on your left.  Clara Martin Center sign out front.

From Burlington:

Take Route 7 South to Middlebury.   As you are approaching Middlebury look for the John Deere Tractor Dealership, take a right onto Exchange Street.  Look for the Catamount Park sign on your right (across from the CARBRO building on your left).  Take a right at the sign and the Counseling Service is the first building on your left (light blue and cream).

From Rutland:

Take Route 7 North to Middlebury.  As you are approaching the Middlebury Inn, stay on the right lane, go past the Middlebury Inn and continue heading north.  At the first traffic light, take a left onto Elm Street (Mobil Station on the corner) to the 4 way intersection. Take a right at the intersection (Greg’s Market facing you) to Exchange Street. Continue till you see sign for Catamount Park and take a left (across from CARBRO building on the right).  The Counseling Service is the first building on your left (light blue and cream).

From I-91 NORTH or SOUTH:

Take EXIT 7 to Springfield.

Bear right onto ROUTE 11 WEST.

Follow ROUTE 11 WEST for about 4 miles to the center of Springfield at the four way traffic light intersection.

Keep going NORTH on VERMONT 106 for .6 miles.  You will be at another set of traffic lights. (A Shopping Plaza is on the left.)

Stay straight NORTH on VERMONT 106 for another 1.7 miles.  The new office building is on the LEFT side of the road.  There is a small construction trailer sitting near the road---the driveway is just past this trailer.

**If you go by Woodbury’s Florist on the left side of the road---you have gone too far!

FROM ROUTE 103: 

Go through Ludlow and down through Proctorsville Gulf.

Turn left onto ROUTE 10 in Gassetts Corner.

Continue on f or approximately 6 miles on ROUTE 10

Go past turn to Route 106 to Woodstock, our office is less than 2 miles on the right.

Go past Woodbury’s Florist and our building is the next one on the right hand side of the road.

FROM CHESTER:

Come into Springfield from Chester on ROUTE 11.

Continue through a yellow light just at the turn to Springfield Hospital.

Continue to the next set of traffic lights (McDonald’s is on the left and Shaw’s Plaza on the right) and get in the middle lane.

At the traffic island split, bear left through the light onto RIVER STREET.

Stay straight NORTH on VERMONT 106 for another 1.7 miles.  The new office building is on the LEFT side of the road.  There is a small construction trailer sitting near the road---the driveway is just past this trailer.

**If you go by Woodbury’s Florist on the left side of the road---you have gone too far!

Starting from WOODSTOCK, Vermont:

Go SOUTH on VERMONT 106 for approximately 23 miles. 

At the STOP SIGN, take a left and continue for approximately 1 mile.

The Springfield facility is on the right---just past Woodbury’s Florist.

Turn left (West toward Lake) onto Flynn Ave - continue 0.4mi to 208 Flynn

Brick complex with parking (just prior to crossing RR track). Entrance is closest to street - green awning.

Do not confuse with adjacent (also brick) 300 Flynn treatment facility you will pass on same street just prior to reaching 208.

Exit 10 (Waterbury) off Interstate 89

Travel North on Route 100 following signs to Stowe and Morrisville for about 20 miles. You will enter the village of Morrisville where there will be a 4-way intersection. Take a left, continuing on VT 100 otherwise known as Portland Street. Keeping left (movie theater on the corner) on Portland Street, go through big iron bridge and then turn right after the bridge onto Brooklyn Street. Continue on Brooklyn Street until you get to Harrel Street on the right (about a quarter mile). Turn right onto Harrell Street.

FROM 91 NORTH OR SOUTH:

Take Exit 7 Springfield.   Come off exit towards Springfield.  It’s approximately 4 miles into town.  Go past farm equipment and car dealerships on right, go straight through yellow traffic island light by Maple Valley Credit Union and go up hill into downtown.

Go straight through real stoplight by Chittendon Bank and Penelope’s restaurant. 

Go another quarter mile and go straight through next stoplight (McDonald’s and Shaw’s plaza is on the left).  Go another half mile, slow down when you see Biben’s Hardware store on left. Next building is Ridgewood Professional Building, the next one is LSI, tan building maroon window trim, on left. 

FROM Rte 103:  Go through Ludlow down through Proctorsville Gulf and turn left onto Rte 10 in Gassetts corner. Proceed 6 miles or so on Rte 10, you will start to come into town. FROM CHESTER:

Come in to Springfield from Chester on Rte 11.  You will come straight  through a yellow light past turn to Springfield Hospital.  Go to next light, (McDonalds and Shaw’s Plaza on right), get in middle lane.   The traffic islands split, bear left through light on island onto River Street.

From VT 15 continue to the 5 corners in Essex Junction, staying straight to go onto Park Street (VT 2A). Turn right onto Industrial Avenue, go to end turning right onto Williston Road. Sterling Area Services is located on Professional Drive off from Brooklyn Street/VT 100 in Morrisville. 

From the South via I-89 take Exit 10 in Waterbury. 

Proceed North on VT 100 through Stowe, to Morrisville (about 20 miles).  As you enter Morrisville village, you will come to a four-way intersection.  Take a left at the intersection, still following VT 100, also known as Portland Street.  (You will bear left at the corner where the Bijou Cineplex 4 is located)  From the intersection continue on for .3 mile before turning right, still on VT 100/Brooklyn Street.  You will go about .5 mile before coming to Professional Drive on the left side of the road (Ultramar on the left).  Take the left onto Professional Drive.  Sterling Area Services is located around the back of the building.  Plenty of parking is available. 

Note: If you get to Hannaford’s (on the left) you have gone too far!

From the North:

Take Route 7 South right into downtown Bennington to the intersection of Route 7 and Route 9.  Take a right turn at this intersection (Main Street) and go through one traffic light (Main and Depot Street).  After you proceed through the traffic light, you will see a large gray stone church on your right (St. Francis de Sales).  Turn left at the next traffic light on to Dewey Street.  You will come to a stop sign.  Continue straight through the stop sign on Dewey Street.  You will see Southwestern Vermont Medical Center on your right (up on the hill).  The road to the medical center is Hospital Drive.  Go slowly past Hospital Drive, as the driveway for United Counseling Service is the next right hand driveway past Hospital Drive.  There is a sign at the bottom of Ledge Hill Drive. 

From the East:

Take 302 East for approximately 10 miles, at junction of 302 and 25 turn onto 25 East, continue 24 miles until stop light, past stop light, 2 or 3 buildings on right, across from Farmway.

Take I-89 to exit 9

Take access road to Rt 2, left onto Rt 2, 1/3 of a mile,

You will see Middlesex Country Store and just beyond the store you will see Rt 100b turn left onto Rt 100b, drive approximately 6 miles,

Just before you get to the Village of Moretown you will see a concrete bridge and a wooden post that reflects “Dickerson Rd”,

Turn left onto Dickerson road, you will see a bluish grey building; it is the 1^st and largest building on Dickerson road.  You can see this building from the main road.

Go west on Rte 66, (approximately 3 miles) drive to Randolph as before, bearing left around the Cumberland Farms corner

Cross the Main street bridge, take the (first) immediate right (goes down hill and under the bridge around sharp corner), this is Prince Street, follow road past an empty restaurant and a small office building, turn left just past the small office building, this is the parking area, you will see a bowling alley, a warehouse and Upper Valley Services, UVS is just north of the warehouse.

Go past McDonalds and White River Junction Post office
